2013 Fellowships
The University of Nottingham’s International Office is pleased to announce the launch of the 2013 Visiting Fellowship Scheme, which will allow 20 researchers from seven partner countries the opportunity to complete a three month period of research in Nottingham.
The Scheme follows on from the successful University of Nottingham ‘Indian Visiting Fellowships Scheme’ which ran in 2010 and 2011 and the ‘Brazil Visiting Fellowship Scheme’ which ran in 2012.
What is the aim of the 2013 Visiting Fellowship Scheme?
The aims of the Scheme are to:
- Promote research collaboration between leading groups in Nottingham and the seven partner countries through projects undertaken initially at Nottingham
- Support capacity development with universities in the partner countries
- Enable Visiting Fellows to obtain insight into the organisation and conduct of research, training and administration at Nottingham
- Help support developing partnerships and identify possible new partnerships in the partner countries

The partner countries for the 2013 Visiting Fellowship Scheme are:
- Bangladesh
- Ethiopia
- Indonesia
- Iraq
- Libya
- Mexico
- Philippines
